i posted this up in the newbies section and i got NO help at all. I don't know what's going on, this prog always freezes on me when i need subs. I have tried both the svcd and cvd options but neither works. I have used windows 2000 and xp and neither works either. Any ideas what the problem might be or know another program besides I-AUTHOR that can do subs?
system:
2 drives a 20 gig and 100 gig about 20 gigs left in the target drive
amd athlon 1.2ghz 672 ram

here's the log file, as you can see not much happens before it freezes on me. Thanks for any help.

Mozart: I reopened this thread, because when you where closing this thread, I was deleting the thread in the advanced forum :)

Anyway. First thing, I-Author IS NOT being used for extract subtitles from the dvd, it happens internally in dvd2svcd, so don't bring I-Author into the picture. Second, you say that it always happens, so I gues you have tried it with many DVD's. As a matter of fact I always use Subtitles, and I am doing so on 3 different computers, and I have only had freezes when extracting the subtitles using windows 98. However that is fixed in the latest 1.0.6 build 3, so before you start crossposting all over again, try build 3 and if the problem persists report back here.

First thing, i didn't bring I-author up because of dvd2svcd i didn't even know dvd2svcd used it i just brought it up becuase it is another program that is used for subs. Second, sorry about the cross post. Third, build 3 didn't solve the problem at all it still goes about half way and then it freezes up:confused: thanks for any help.
