With all double sided DVD I got sync problems only on my standalone DVD player.
For instance the Movies, Lethal Weapon4, Starship Troopers or Air Force One the Tone is faster than the Pictures.
I tried different settings in bbMPEG:
Start up delays
Video = 0 Audio1= 1 Audio2= 0
Video = 0 Audio100= 1 Audio2= 0
Video = 0 Audio200= 1 Audio2= 0
Movie offset seconds= 1

But there is not really a improvement.
What makes me confusing is that on the beginning of each chapter the tone is faster than normal but synchron with the pictures, after approximately 5-10 seconds you can hear a “crack” after that it’s no more synchron (1-1,5 seconds).

On the PC (Power DVD) it’s OK with all the different settings I described above.

More info.
What version of DVD2SVCD?
What version of BeSweet if using a 1.06 build?
How are you making the encode since you have to rip twice with double sided discs?
If you use SmartRipper are you piping the rip through the internal ripper of DVD2SVCD?
What Ripper did you use?

I´m using the version 1.0.6 build 1
BeSwwet version is that one which was includet in 1.0.6 build 1.
Since yesterday I´m working with build 2, so if you must know the version of BeSweet I have to install build 1 again - let me know.

At the beginning I ripped with Smart Ripper as it is described in the FAQ´s (ripping of double sided DVD) of DVD2SVCD with and without using the internal routins.

I also tried to ripp with DVD2SVCD internal routins directly from the DVD.
There was no difference.

If you need more details let me know!:p

Sounds like you had the bug in BeSweet. Grab and try 1.06.3. This includes the latest BeSweet version that has fixed several bugs including the audio being out of sync when you downsample.
If you are only playing the SVCD in your computer and DVD player there is no need to downsample and this can save you plenty of time.

Thanx for the hints.
I don´t use downsampling anymore - so for me the problem is solved.

Have fun at the Super Bowl!:) :) :)

Just a bit of info, the offsets mentioned above are in milliseconds, not seconds. To get a displacement of 1 second you need to enter 1000.
