may be it a little bug or my mistake:
1) Second audio: when it is there in Conversion choosed, and it is filled in Audio as Audio priority2, in table with bitrates is counting with number from audio 2. It is OK.
But when it is turned-off in Audio ( Audio priority 2 is grayed), in bitrate is still counting with Audio2.
2)I tried still point ad1) and now I still get message, when I go to "Converting". I get "The max. audio bittrate is less than 128kb/s ..." and next message, that Total bitrate is bigger than 5508...
Now i getting still only "... bitrate is bigger than ..."
Have You it same ?
Sorry, I wrote it here, it was mistake, next always to new...

Hi!
I have the same problem...I also get:
"The max. audio bitrate is less than 128kb/s ..." and next message that "Total bitrate is bigger than 5508..."
I have selected Audio1 and Audio2...
I'm confused...this message first pops up, if I try to open the IFO-File and always, if I switch to the conversation tab, with the entered IFO-File.

sorry for distracting your attention from programming,
but I have a little problem here with bundle2.
Why I've got flip over, upside-down picture?
With version 1.0.5 I do not have any problem like that, just checked.
Is it a bug?

Are you using the new bicubic Direct show filter in Windows media player?

@Kiro: I sure hope you're not using Windows Mediaplayer to play the movie.

Hi!
I have some additional problems...
My first problem is that the shown length of the movie is wrong.
I tried to convert X-Files, 1 Season, 1 Episode
The length (shown with PowerDVD and also with Smartripper) is 46 minutes and 16 seconds. If I load the IFO-file into DVD2SVCD, the length will be shown just with 46:09.
BeSweet also counts until 46:16 Minutes. After encoding, the last few seconds of the Movie (I enccode with two languages) are missing at the end...I think this belongs to the wrong length...
BeSweet seems to produce another problem...
If I use it in build 1, the length of the encoded mp2 audio file is also 46:16 (like the movie) - in build 2 it is 50:22 and it sounds a little bit to slow (checked with WinAmp)...
The produced SVCD is extremly asynchron (checked with PowerDVD)...the picture runs normal, the sound comes more an more late...more than 5 Minutes at the end of the Movie (46:16 to 50:22).
Due to the fact that the encoded audiofile seems to be to long after encoding with BeSweet, I think the problem can be found in this program. I tried in near past build 2 pre 5 and had the same problem. In build 1, I just had the problem with the wrong length and the missing end of the Movie...
Thanks in advance for your great work!
PS: I hope that my english is not to bad ;-)
Best,
Michael

I'm using PowerDVD 4.0
And sound also does not match, as others have said
(my last trial has been with BeSweet1.1)

@Gerti:
Would you mind posting these logs here:
1. dvd2svcd_log.txt
2. Encoded_audio_1.log
Regarding the shown movielength in DVD2SVCD, don't mind that, dvd2svcd doesn't use it for anything. The reason that you see a difference between dvd2svcd and other programs is because dvd2svcd adds all the chapter lengths together, instead of using the IFO file runlength, but as I said, the value is just there for user information and nothing else.

Apparently there isn't anything in the above logs that indicates the problems you have. Except perhaps the 48000->44100 Downsampling. Would you mind turning that off and see if that fixes your problem. If it does I'll ask DSPguru for some help on the issue.
EDIT:
I can verify that downsampling in Besweet indeed will make the movie async. Don't use downsampling in DVD2SVCD until further notice.

should be :
C:\Programme\DVD2SVCD\BeSweet\BeSweet.exe -core( -input D:\Movie\Extracted_audio_1.ac3 -output D:\Movie\Encoded_audio_1.mp2 -logfile D:\Movie\Encoded_audio_1.log ) -azid( -L -3db -l 0db -C 0 -S 0 -c normal -s surround -f0 -n0 ) -ota( -g max -d -88 ) -ssrc( --rate 44100 ) -2lame( -e -b 128 -m s )
comments :
a) -c0 -s0 -f0 -n0 are already the deafult, so it isn't needed to state it.
b) i think you shouLd use Dialog normalization when using -ota( -g max ).

is it a problem with BeSweet or with muxing ? i just encoded two mp2 files, one with downsampling and one without - the results are good.

I know they are default, but they can be changed now in the new version of DVD2SVCD, therefore I always use them, even though the default values is used. It shouldn't make a difference.
Sorry, but I forgot to say that this was with BeSweet 1.0. I will test 1.1 asap.
