Megui, .x264/mp4 source, Windows 7 ???

Hey guys

I tried everything but i still don't know how to encode movie if input/source file is .x264/mkv or mp4!? Is that possible? I'm Windows 7 32x user. I have K-lite and xvid codecs, latest AviSynt, Megui is up to date... everything is fine with .avi/xvid inputs...

If anyone can help please post here, step by step, or any helpful tutorial...

Why did you encode your movie to MKV and then want to re-encode it? Start from the original disk to make what you want directly.

No... I want to make small size movie. From e.g. 4GB mkv source to make e.g. 500mb mkv movie. It seems that is not possible if you are Win 7 user, as i am. XP users haven't these problems... Some guys here told me that i can make small size movie if my source file is mkv or mp4!? But how? :)
