Any ideas on a good filter setting for this source. I haven't done much animation was looking at Toon(Strength=0.75).MSharpen(threshold=10,strength=140)

However could be better. The crows beek and witches top lip.

Why do you need to improve on the Sleeping Beauty Platinum DVD? The transfer was already prestinely restored by Lowry Digital and this is the best the film has ever looked.

Just how in the world do you know if it's the Platinum DVD from 1 screenshot? It could be any version as far as I know. To the OP: post a sample (VOB) of the original video.

Cause I own the DVD, the screenshot tells me it is presented in its original aspect ratio as opposed to the first DVD release of Sleeping Beauty which was not the case regarding the aspect ratio, there were only ever 2 versions released of Sleeping Beauty on DVD, the Platinum Edition DVD is a gem.

The halo-ing on that is pretty bad. OP most likely oversharpened. Can we get a screenshot of the original frame?

No, no screenshot. Original video sample. Yes, post a VOB fragment. Cut it with DGSplit, for example.

Just what kind of extension is it? Can't get it to open with anything, even if I rename it with .d2v or .rar or .zip

Going to have to agree with Saga. Don't see anything wrong with the sample you included.
