As in the title. Is there a way to stop current jobs, turn off PC and, after rebooting, continue safely on the jobs? I ask due to my really slow speeds (1.33fps in 1st pass on 2core). I searched for such a feature in meGUI but couldn't find any.

Why don't you just use hibernate function?

@Atak_Snajpera: I don't believe it's 100% safe. I often experience swap file issues after hibernation.

It depends on hardware, drivers etc. why not just let it run?

It's more complicated. 4core doesn't belong to me and can be run max. ~13h with no break (normally only ~9h). Last time I gave it a try, 1st pass would complete in 14.5h (using probably 2cores only). MT("", 4) could change it theoretically to 7.3h but it's not so sure. I also think about splitting (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1422552#post1422552) whole thing. The best solution would be megui letting stop and continue at any moment. Is there a thread somewhere here we can suggest new features to megui? I wonder if x264CLI'd be capable o such things.

I don't recommend it but it would be possible to split with AviSynth and then merge the encoded files with mkvmerge. I have no idea about possible problems this might cause.
