Tool to add MKV chapters...

Hi,

Does anyone know of a program to add MKV chapters to existing MKV's?

I'm after one that only does this function, and doesn't touch audio, etc. That rules out MKVMerge, Handbrake, etc.

Basically, i want to be able add MKV chapters to MKV's created by the new SMM muxer. Specifically, MKV's created by the SMM muxer, that contain THD+AC3 audio.

For instance, if open a THD+AC3 MKV created by SMM muxer in MKVMerge, it doesn't recognise the audio, and actually remove the TrueHD frames.

This will be a stop gap solution until hopefully MKV chapter support is added to the SMM muxer.

Doesn't support TrueHD/DTS-HD i believe.

Hi,

Did you try to add chapters files with MKV Merge GUI from global section / add chapter file or from Chapters section -> Save to Matroska File option? The second option is easiest, btw....
