I'm trying to run megui on ubuntu so I installed wine and windows mono. I then typed wine MeGUI.exe and a error came up saying
fixme:wincodecs:IcoFrameDecode_ReadPixels unsupported bitcount: 0
** (Z:\root\Desktop\megui\MeGUI.exe:25): WARNING **: exception inside UnhandledException handler: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Anyone know how I can fix this?

I think that avidemux is the best (replacement) for megui in ubuntu!!
but, if it has extra features like (the profiles in megui) ... it would be great!!
i think Sharktooth can help with that ....... aren't you??! :D

another alternative will be handbrake, however it doesn't support hardsubbing...=(
