View Full Version : CCE Crash even with 1 pass VBR

I have been having problems with CCE crashing at the completion of a pass - 1 VBR or multipass - it crashes just at the end so if I just cancel the Windows XP error report sending screen the mpv file actually gets saved and is perfectly fine. However this is clearly a problem on multi passes since the second pass never starts. This problem occurs for me on 106b1 and 104b2. I normally use 3 pass - this problem has occurred since changing PC.

It seems to happen on all videos now.

Any suggestions.

1. What is your new computers specs?
2. Can you post the dvd2svcd log file.
3. What version of XP Home or Pro?
4. This only happens on those 2 builds of dvd2svcd that you posted?
If yes 2 question 4..have you tried 1.0.5 build 4?

Spec

Abit KRA7A Raid
XP 1700+
768 MB RAM
SCSI
Matrox Video
SBLIve
NIC
Liteon 24x CDRW IDE
Matshita 7502 CDR SCSI
Plextor 32x CDROM SCSI
Pioneer 116 DVD IDE
40GB IBM 7200 IDE

I've only tried those two build plus I've tried direct from CCE loading the ecl file - same problem.

I'll try 105b4 but I think the CCE / Avisynth combo have been tried in the other two versions.

Thanks a lot.

Try taking out ram sticks and putting only 1 in at a time while you

encode see if that helps you..at the same time try the latest

dvd2svcd ..that was just released....1.0.6 build 2.. do a complete

uninstall of your old dvd2svcd then install this

version......another note there is a later version of besweet v1.1 i

believe....so if you want download that also unzip it in the

dvd2svcd besweet folder overwriting the v1.0
