just made my first 2-cd DivX rip, and the AVI is one 1.31gb file. What's the best method to split it into two files? I've heard that alot of them give you bad synch problems...

virtual dub will do it fine ... unless you have abr/vbr mp3 audio (or ac3 for that matter) in which case you need to call in nandub

theres a guide for splitting avis in the guides section, it would be a good read

as long as u don't just split the files, nandub is file.
just offset the end first and then the start.
no problems.

I split titanic using avisplit 3.3 beta. No problems :)
