Hello,

I just used Gordian's knot for the first time last night. I have been using Fair Use (I am really new to the divx conversion process) for about 3 weeks now with good results. However, Fair Use is reallllllllly slow. I figured there must be faster packages out there.

It looks like Gordian's knot is a 1 stop place to convert DVD's to divx format files. I don't know the results of last nights trial yet since I didn't have time to check this morning. But I was wondering if there is a full manual someplace that would take me step by step through how to do it. Smartripper rips the DVD really quick, but then what? plus there were tabs on GK that I didn't know if I had to use or not. I started to mix it at the end but saw a message that stated no audio....so I don't know if my final product will have sound or not.

Anyone that can help me with this I would be greatly appreciative.

If you know of any other better tools that are faster then FU that I should be using please let me know. I am trying to convert all my movies but it will take forever if I have to wait 19-24 hours for each one (which is average for Fair Use).

Thanks,

Jeff
