After apply the best deinterlace method for this animation, TGMC, is slow, but the best bobber I know... but even with him, I get many chroma issues (The DVD have them already):

What can you do after TemporalSoften(2)? Well, not much of anything. If it's present when you SeparateFields(), I don't think it's possible to even minimize the damage.

Yeah it appears when SeparateFields... :/
But what is this problem, do you know?

They did this in a misguided attempt to reduce chroma noise:

MergeChroma(TemporalSoften(1))

Try it on any random video you have lying around, you'll get the same effect. With a clip of the original vob it might be possible to find a way to minimize it, but that's the kind of thing that gets me looking for the name of the authoring company to write a nasty letter.

I screwed up, since I hardly use it, sorry:

TemporalSoften(1,0,255,mode=2)

You don't even need MergeChroma.
