Hi to everybody
I have a lot of questions and i would be much obliged if someone could answer them.
At fist which is the best dvd authoring program for miniDVD (on cdr no dvd-r)?
I read this forum a lot and everyone has an opinion and i am confused
I want to know which dvd authoring program accepts the video stream at any aspect and preserves it( for example i read that dvd maestro is a very good package but outputs only at 4:3 ) and this is problem how to get at least the correct pan&scan video stream from a wide-screen DVD( i don't know if i give the correct term my english are not the best)but i know ( i am not 100% sure!) that a wide screen DVD can play at 4:3(one of the options of any dvd player) ) and there some special information on the video stream so as much as possible viewing information is lost.Also i need full 5.1 audio
Also which is the best encoder/transoder and which versions accept frameserved
Again what about multiplexing with no sync problems which seems to be the no1 problem
Last but of cource not least i Really need subtitles (so the authoring program you will recommend should accept them - i don't really care if they are switchable or not i want them !)
PS A lot of you guys have made miniDVD and i would be more than happy if you could share with me some of the settings you used on your encoders ( i am particullary interested in real examples ; i am talking the whole thing : a movie with 5.1 audio with a length of xx minutes and the number of 700mb you used)
