Hello,

I made a .d2v file from a movie previously, and it loaded fine into Gknot (latest version) previously. I then resintalled the operating system (Win2K pro), reinstalled Gknot (latest version), and tried to load that exact .d2v previously made into Gknot, but get the following error message:

File is not a valid DVD2AVI project (1.76, YUV2)!

Creating new .d2v's and try to load into Gknot still cause the same error message.

Please offer any suggestions and help!
Thank you,
Sam:)

Strangely enough, I had the same problem at first.
But I had installed dvd2avi before I installed Gknot.

My solution was: completely uninstall all Gknot related progs.
And just reinstall everything. Beginning with DivX 3.11 codec.

Just following the guide after that, gave perfect movies.

As I've stated in several other posts, SR 2.41 doesn't seem to provide a proper NTSC d2v file. Apparently, PAL works great though.

If you want an error free d2v file I suggest you use the file from DVD2AVI;)
