Hello, I just burned a DVD if Fast and Furious to make it i Ripped it with Smart ripper, I ripped all the fules besides the main movie, then i ripped the main movie and stipped out all audio besides AC3 and put it into my VIDEO_TS folder. Then i i used ifoedit to stip out bonus feature VIDEO and got it down to 4.37gb. I clicked get vts sectors and then region free and then opened it in Prassi and went to burn and it burn successfully but when i put it in my player it took a while to find anything but it founf the FBI warning played that then stopped playing and couldnt find the rest of the movie. Any advice as to what i did wrong. I know its not the media because i just burned another movie same media and it works fine. Thanks itn advance, Jeff

i just copyied the fast and furious. it works great(except it had 40 chapters but that didn't matter). what i did is i ripped the whole dvd onto the harddrive. Then u want to strip the audio using ifoedit. and do all the rest u should know how. then burn it with recordnow max. the first time i burn it with vob instant cd/dvd it didn't play on my dvd player. then i tried recordnow max and it worked great. so the burning software can be ur problem.

There must be a title-set missing. You left some of the extras away, so your player can't find it.

Try to create new IFO files with IfoEdit for that movie. That should work then.

Oldie:

Derrow is right on--I had the same issue once and ever since I've ALWAYS checked create new ifo's etc. Never had any problems since.

Prassi and RecordNow Max are based on the same software engine. They both work about the same as far as burning dvds.
