Hi!

I use Version 1.0.6 build 2 Pre 1 but the bug is still there during the muxing process. What can I do? Which earlier version does not contain this bug?

I used DVD2SVCD until 2-3 weeks ago whithout any problem, but actually i'm not able to finish once.

Hello,

I know in what mood you must be. I had also a lot of problems with 1.0.6 build 1/build 2 pre 1 and build 2 pre 2. At this moment I use 1.0.5 build 3 and the last 3 days I've converted 3 movies without any problems. So get rid of the 1.0.6 version and use one of the 1.0.5 versions.

BTW Uninstall the other versions of DVD2SVCD before you install 1.0.5

Greetings

I think the problem is the use of '007' as a directory name. This is not a DVD2SVCD bug, it is a BBMpg bug. When BBMpg goes to increment the file number for the second split, it increments the '007' to '008' instead, can't find '008' and abends, and causes all sorts of problems downstream.

It's best to avoid the use of numerals in directory names altogether when using DVD2SVCD.

Unfortunately I don't know if you can just change the directory name and do crash recovery. I'd give it a try. Actually, I'd give it several tries, even editing path names in the recovery file if necessary.

@Kedirekin

Good hint, thanks. I'll try the rename thing.

Cheers, Fireball
