hello,
I have many video with noise and bad quaity. Its coming from wireless camera and im trying to clean it.
My script is contain, Yadif, MCTemporalDenoise (VeryHigh), LSFMod
I get good result with this. But im always searching for new stuff. I think MCTemporalDenoise is hard to beat in term of quality for denoising. I found TNLmeans on this forum, im wondering if it doing a nice job similar to MCTemporalDenoise. If not, can you suggess me other filter similar or better than MCTemporalDenoise.
And my last Question, What is MT, what is use for ? I see this all time, but i never used it.
Tks.
PS. I know you guys, your typical answer is you cant recommand you something if we dont know what type of noise you have. Please post a sample of you video or be more precise. Look, I dont now what type of noise i have. Its bad video, with interference because of wireless. They is dot everywhere, some line, color is not vivid, interlacing.

Hehe Neuron2, I was sure you you would say that. The video quality is this [spam].
My setup is Yadif, MCTemporalDenoise (VeryHigh), LSFMod
and I get a pretty good result. Is there better filter than MCTemporalDenoise for strong overall denoising ? Does TNLmeans do the job better ?
And what is MT fonctions.

Thanks pal

That's not your video. You are linking to a showcase example of [].

If your own footage is of the same type than what [] has cherrypicked as a showcase, then consider using [] to filter your stuff, too. :)

"MT" is short for "Multi Threading", which is used to better utilize modern CPUs with multiple Cores.

Sorry, I convert into DIVX by mistake, Original codec is Motion JPEG. Sometimes not everytime, it become noisy and lines coming up. I would like to know if there is a better stuff to clean video than MCTemporalDenoise (VeryHigh).

Heres a old unprocessed sample for a wireless cam hook up to a RC. All video is crap as this. I run Yadif, MCTemporalDenoise (VeryHigh), LSFMod to have it little better. Any idea if there is any filter better

That is also DivX. You are now being disingenuous and your posting history suggests you are a shill for a certain commercial noise filtering product. Therefore I am closing this thread and warning you to follow our forum rules.

Finally, "better" is subjective so answer that yourself.
