View Full Version : Editing a color scheme for 'Normal' button state

Is it possible to edit color scheme in 'Normal' state (e.g. for hiding a special button image)? I neither can see such an option in PGCEdit nor in DVDRemake (only for selected/activated).
Some authoring applications like DVDLab provide it for internally created menus (by manually setting full opacity and color matching bg color, in normal state):

but I'd like to edit menus created independently.

The "normal" scheme is the scheme that is used by the standard subtitles. It is show by default when you open the menu in DVDSubEdit, and you can modify it. Simply do NOT select any button to edit. Usually, it is full transparent, but, as you said, it can be used to cover the non-selected buttons.

Note that that scheme is global to all buttons AND the background outside the button areas, so if you change, say, e1 for button 1, it will change for all buttons, and the background will change also if e1 is used as the background colour in the subpic stream.

Thanks for the explanation, r0lZ.
