Hi !

Iīm completely new to MiniDVD authoring but I like this format.
My method:
1) Extracting AC3 stream with SmartRipper
2) Reencoding the Movie stream via DVD2AVI, MPEG2DEC.DLL, AVISynth and TMPEGEnc in 2 Pass
Mode to a lower bitrate.
3) Muxing new video stream and AC3 stream using DVD Quickbuilder as a VOB
4) Splitting the VOB in 3-4 smaller CDR sized VOBs for authoring MiniDVDs using Vobsplit
5) Authoring MiniDVDs using Quickbuilder and the VOB chunks as source.

My problem:

How do I fix async AC3 audio ? Nandub gives me an option where I can choose audio delay.
I couldnīt find such a setting in DVD Quickbuilder.

Are there any free tools to do this ?

Thanx,
D$

Not that I know of.

You need to upgrade to a authoring software that's capable of syncing with the AC3 timecodes, e.g ReelDVD or Maestro.

You could always reencode the AC3 I suppose.

Without a doubt forget about muxing vobs and using Quickbuilder. Get DVDMaestro and you'll never have problems again.
