Spec for MPeg4 Part 2 video in MP4 container

This does not seem to be covered by 14496-2. Which spec defines MPEG 4 part 2 video in MP4 container?

Obscurity does not imply non-existence, and I must modify my MP4 Writer to support M4V for a particular device. MP4BOX will put m4v into MP4 and so I guess there must be a spec somewhere.

"However, unprotected M4V files may be recognized and played by other video players by changing the file extension from ‘.m4v’ to ‘.mp4’." So just try it the other way around. Apple should just dig itself a grave and die.

I have written a production MP4 writer, and must add support for MPEG4-Part 2 video. In looking at an MP4 stream with MPeg4-Part2, I see that it uses 14496-1 esds box in the mp4v box. I am looking for the spec details for this configuration. I do not see any information on iso files in the 1449602 spec.
