Hey all,
I have 2 questions:
1. How can I create an MPEG file, so I can watchthe movie from my hard drive, And NOT create the image file for cd-burning?
2. I want to rip JUST the soundtrack, and then devide it and encode it to mp3. Is it possible?
thanx,
Cikey

1) checkmark "donīt create image" in cdimage tab;
2) use besweet_gui. You can find it at doom9īs download homepage.

Just to add onto what Mozart said.

You will also have to check "Do Not Delete any files" in the Misc tab. I think you do anyway.

The files will be named bbmpeg_muxed_file00.mpg and up.
Best to watch them in WinDVD or PowerDVD 4.0. The audio is very often out of sync in Media Player.

There will be no chapters. These are added when you burn the CD.

For the audio.
You could also just close down DVD2SVCD and CCE after CCE starts. You will have an .ac3 and .mp2 audio files to convert with whatever you wanted, but I believe BeSweet can rip and convert the audio from the DVD directly too.

Just on that issue, it's weird because I have syncing problems on one machine but not on another. Both are running win2k, but the one with syncing problems has windvd installed while the machine where there aren't syncing problems has powerdvd installed. That may not explain it though...
