Hi!

I installed MeGUI 0.3.3 successfully in Windows 7 64 bit, but (besides Avisynth) I also had to install VobSub seperately, which I think was not the case under Windows Vista 32 Bit. Anyway, I would love to use VSFilter 2.39 instead of the old VobSub 2.23, but that for some reason seems not to work. I always get the errormessage in MeGUI that module vobsub.dll could not be found.

Having read some posts here concerning vobsub.dll and vsfilter.dll I still can't really figure out how to switch from 2.23 to 2.39.

Help greatly appreciated

Matthias

You need to (and always have needed to) install the old vobsub package for the vobsubber to work. You can use vsfilter for displaying subtitles only.

Hi:

I ran into the same problems. I had to install vobsub 2.23 and then copy the vobsub.dll to c:/windows/system32 and to c:/windows/syswow64

hope this helps!!:helpful:

Thanks a lot for making this clear. I thought VSfilter fully replaces VobSub.

I had no problem installing and using VobSub in Windows 7 64-Bit. No need to copy vobsub.dll anywhere.
