Is there anything to do when my movie is out of sync when coded with Gknot? The sync is OK in the beginning of the movie, but it gets quite worse at the end. I used 128k ABR mp3 for the audio (i let Gknot do it, i did not do it separately). This out of sync-thing happened on both PAL and NTSC movies. Where should I start fixing things?

what system do you have?
because the synch issue should only be for ntsc and not pal.
beside the delay. but if it is synched in the begining then it is not a delay problem. and if the problem is in pal too then it sounds like your computer is not up to the task for the decoding.

Well, my computer is a 1000MHz AMD Athlon, 256mb ram and enough free HD space. No such problems ever occurred to me when I encoded with FlaskMPEG.. Does it help if I do the audio separately (with virtual/nandub)?

There's also an other weird problem, whenever I rip a DVD to HD, after the last vob has been ripped, the computer shows up a blue screen of death and I have to reboot it. I rip the DVD's with SmartRipper. It doesn't help to use another ripper. Everything's OK when I rip the last vob separately.
