View Full Version : Using DVD2SVCD to do VCD

Sorry for my bad English as I don't use English much.

I am a total newbie on this thing. I just try to convert a DVD to SVCD using DVD2SVCD, everything is fine, I burnt the images to disc, however my DVD player can't play the disc, it seems that it don't support the SVCD format.

Is there any method which can convert DVD to a normal VCD by using DVD2SVCD?

Can't be done. SVCD only.

Try Tmpg. Read the guides on Doom9.org.

more than likely your dvd "does" support Svcd.
BUT "does not" support Cdr.
in which case it will not play a VCD either.
check the documentation that came with your Dvd.
