I'm using Windows 7 x64 and I am going to encode some Blu-ray VC-1 source.
Actually I don't trust the VC-1 decoder from libavcodec so I am going to use directshow filter from Arcsoft.
It is strange that this decode cannot connect to any splitter, I have tried directly connect it to Arcsoft MPEG DEMUX and use vc1tweak, neither works.

Cyberlink VC-1 Decoder doesn't work for me either, the problem of this filter is very similar to WMVideo Decoder DMO.

WMVideo Decoder DMO works via ffdshow (vc-1 set to wmv9)

IIRC, I had a interlaced VC-1 clip that cannot be properly decoded by WMV9 in FFDHOW, are you sure it is the same as WMVideo Decoder DMO?

microsoft's decoder decodes interlaced vc-1 without any problems. only libavcodec shows black screen.

ok, problem is solved
Finally I found a version of video decoder that could be connected to Arcsoft MPEG Demux, it is far enough for me
Hope that FFMPEG DXVA2.0 VC-1 DECODER become available in FFMS2 soon, it could be really useful for poor ATI users like me
