tsMuxer problems opening H.264 MP4

Hey all,

So I've generated some H.264 MP4s with x264 1510 that seem totally ordinary. Strangely enough, tsMuxer doesn't want to open them!

The source for these MP4s (another MP4, this time a 50mbps filtered H.264 mezzanine file from a ProRes master) opens fine, and I can create a TS without any headaches.

The 1000kbps and 4000kbps MP4s play fine and seem totally ordinary.

Can anyone give me insight as to why they won't open in tsMuxer???

Something different about the container; for example if you rewrap with mp4box (yamb) first, then tsmuxer accepts it without the error

DOH!

I'm recently having problems with my dreadful little in-house muxer with new x264 encodes (using 1510 instead the old 1371 standard). Our muxer complains about invalid video frames etc... Something tells me there may be common ground here.

More investigation is necessary.

More investigation is necessary.I will guess "doesn't support short startcodes". Do I get a prize?
