The olde Fast Forward / Rewind question

My DVD player (Philips DVD711) will not fast forward or rewind my svcds. How can I fix this?

If you use NERO to create your SVCD, then you cannot Fast-Forward / Backward. Run you SVCD Mpeg file through VCDEasy, and create a BIN/CUE file, and burn it with CDRWin or Fireburner. This should fix the problem.

I'm afraid you cannot fix it. At least, not for SVCD's longer than about 40 minutes. It's a Philips problem.

Bubba's suggestion won't work. I'm making all my SVCD's with VCDeasy.
