Hello!
I have tried to install both huffyuv 32 and 64 version on a Win7 64. Now:
- According to Control Panel/Programs, there is a huffyuv codec, but it cannot be uninstalled (it doesn't do anything when I click on it),
- according to VirtualDub, there is no such codec than huffyuv,
- according to ffdshow, there is a huffyuv,
- according to a program called mmcompview, there is a huffyuv codec but it cannot be deactivated (I get an error message),
- and I can't use Windows Media Player's codec list because it crashes (worked before huffyuv installation).
The reason I tried to install it is that I want to edit a video file captured on an other computer by huffyuv. I want to use an editor called [rule 5] but it says it cannot edit the video file because there is no appropriate codec present.
Is there a way to solve this problem?
