Here's my problem.

i have animated logo in .avi format approx. 3 sec and mp3 file approx.
3 minutes.
How could i join them together so the animated sequence with sound will last 3 MINUTES. I muxed them together with duration match, but
the logo sequence is VERY slow so this 3 seconds are stretched to 3
minutes. I want animated logo to loop every approx 3sec (real time) all 3 minutes while music is playing.

Anyone tried this yet ??????

just open the logo file in nandub and make 59x append .avi with the logo avi. then it should be 3 minutes long, matching the audio. load the mp3 and sav as avi.

this is not very comfortable, but the only way i can think of.

Thanks that worked...but there's another problem. When i tried to
mux the animated logo sequence with .avi movie,i get following
error message: "Cannot append segment: The video streams have different data formats".

are they both encoded with the same codec?

Logo avi = divxmpg4 V3 - sound 44.100KHz
My full avi movie = Divx 4.12 (2 pass) - sound 48kHz

Is there way to reencode logo avi and how (step by step please)

load your logo avi into virtualdub and set compression to divx 4.12 with your desired bitrate.

i think you want to put logo before the main movie, am i right?

if so, the audio streams should have the same bitrate and frequency.

yes, the bitrate makes it. perhaps a little noise filter could also reduce the filesize.

Well i'm not finished yet...When i tried to mux my logo avi (prepared
as it should be with the same bitrate and audio) vdub gives me
error "Cannot append segments:The video stream have different sampling
rates (23.97622 vs. 23.97600). I put bitrate 23.97622 in change framerate option but nothing happens.
The video size is different (logo 320x200 and main video 512x272). I tried to resize logo avi to 512x272 but it keeps telling me that
filesize will be around 600mb (original logo avi 39mb). What i'm i
doing wrong in VDub or Nandub.
Hope you have answer for that (step by step in vdub)

you have to resize the logo avi and change the frame rate and then save it.

after this open the new avi with right size and frame rate, and now you should append the main movie.
