View Full Version : DXVA in MPC-HC, strange behaviour when scenes go from dark to light

I noticed a strange thing last night:

When I use DXVA in MPC-HC and a scene in a movie suddenly switches from a more darker to a light/bright scene, there seems to be some kind of very fast, slightly noticable, 'delay'. Don t know if there are any projector users out there with a projector that use a auto-iris, but it looks similar to a projector that has a noticable auto-iris function. (my projector has no auto-iris but a full iris where this problem cannot occur).

I m using a ATI 5670 with 10.2 driver and W7 x64

Anyone also noticed this problem?

Tetsuo, how do I check this?

it is in the "Avivo Video" section on the "All Settings" tab (it is not on any other tab). There is an "Advanced Quality" grouping containing: "Edge Enhancement", "De-noise", and the "Enable dynamic contrast" check box.
