Hi

I tried to join eight files (m2ts) made by my canon HG20 camcorder, but I have a problem:
1) using tssplitter (join function) I have correct audio/video sync but the duration is wrong, so multiavchd shows incorrect length of the movie
2) using tsmuxer I have correct movie duration but audio and video are out of sync

Could you help me with this, please?

You can put all m2ts files you want to join in one folder and load this folder in multiAVCHD. It will join the files using tsdemux and audio will be in sync.

Unfortunatelly no success here:( I used "join mpg/m*ts/jpg" option, selected the folder with the files to be joined, clicked start, i chose output as for blu-ray players, structure was succesfully created but when I played m2ts file (biggest one) from MULTIAVCHD\AVCHD\BDMV\STREAM\
audio and video is still out of sync

I tried another way now, I have a output m2ts file created from tssplitter - joined these 8 files (m2ts), audio and video are correct sync as i said before, but duration is wrong, so I used tsremux on output m2ts file (from tssplitter) to fix the time issue, but after that the new output file m2ts cannot be played:(

A lot of camcoder users do it and no one reported sync issues. Did you edit these m2ts files beforehand?

And the output is to be played in your player, not just as a single m2ts file.

Yes, I made some cuts using tsmuxer in the input files
but why tssplitter has correct av sync but tsmuxer not?
do you know how to fix duration in the output file from tssplitter?

Cutting/editing the original files caused the async/problem. Use a better application to do it. My suggestion was based on the assumption you're using the original camcoder files, not altered ones.

I made the experiment and joined raw m2ts files straight from hg20 (without any cutting and adding audio) and audio and video was absolutelly okin sync, so I think that I messed up something before when I added music, made cut etc, maybe in process of removing original audio and adding music - music file .ac3 was not exactly the same length as video file(h264),

could you suggest some good software for cutting/editing?
is pinnacle reencoding m2ts when editing/adding some music?

PS. Generally thanx for multiavchd I will definitelly make donation this week so that you can develop it:)
