Hi,

I am backing up 'Couples Retreat' (full backup). The main movie has an English DTS-HD MA track, plus a Spanish DTS track and a French DTS track.

Am I right in thinking if I tick 'Keep HD audio for BD25 encoding' and 'Use 448kbps for AC3 encoding' (and leaving the other two options 'Do not convert DTS to AC3' and 'Do not reencode AC3' unticked) will keep the main English track as DTS-MA, while reencoding the Spanish and French DTS tracks to AC3 448kbps?

Thanks!

Thanks! If you have selected "Keep HD Audio for BD-25" and are writing to BD-25 all tracks will be kept completely intact. If writing to BD-5/9 the English track would be converted to standard DTS and the other two would stay as-is. If "Strict AVCHD" is selected and you're doing movie-only they all would be converted to AC3.

Now that I think about it -- I probably should change it so "Keep HD Audio" only applies to HD... and not be interpreted as "Keep audio intact".

[Edit] Corrected myself.
