What is the best setting to make a SVCD. No blocks, best on all???

Use DVD2SVCD the sbest program to get perfect SVCD's.
Look in these forum.

If I'm asking that is cause i don't wanna use DVD2SVCD.

I find DVD2SVCD painfully slow and it locks my computer occasionally. I use Smartripper, DVD2AVI, and TMPGenc. Still working out which filters to use, but am getting fairly good results.

Go download both TMPGenc 2.51 and TMPGenc Plus 2.51.
Get the 352 X 576 ( or 480 for NTSC) template you will find on TMPGenc plus 2.51 (it is on the folder "wizard") and use it with the TMPGenc 2.51.
It is a 2PASS VBR template, so it takes twice the time to encode. You get the best quality TMPGenc can give you....
Before you post "that is xSVCD", I inform you that it is CVD, china's Video disc, full compatible with SVCD. It is a Hidden standard
