I've encounter a strange behavior.
To test my blu-ray, i've given it to several people.
Each time it was on HDMI system, everything was fine.
But, one of my friend has tested it on a CRT TV.
He says that picture is in B&W and aspect ratio is strange.
The problem occurs only on the blu-ray i've authored, not on others commercial blu-ray he has, so, it's unlikely a configuration problem.
If someone as some idea...

I'm not aware of any CRT TV that has HDMI. Not even on profi line.
It's a problem of TV standards.
However I'm not sure what has this topic to do with advanced authoring.

few CRT with HDMI exist on market (Philips 32PW9551 for example) but seems that issue can be related to wrong color system chosen by BD player (PAL vs NTSC etc) - maybe there is an issue on BD firmware and some incorrect analog output (which can be not very well tested or can have some limitations)

Sorry... It seems i've not been clear engouh :
- Each time it has been tested on HDMI system, it worked properly.
But, my friend have tested on a classic CRT TV, by CVBS cable, and it's this case.
Why advanced authoring : No idea where problem came from, but as on this system commercial blu-rays work fine, i thought, that maybe, there is hidden somewhere in the authoring software (scenarist 5.1.3) some option wich may be faulty...

Hi!
Regarding your friend's CRT output, read the following:

That one uses Scenarist is not the gate to advanced authoring.
Scenarist does not allow defect disks to be authored, in terms of resolution, color space and so on. Even if one managed to trick it somehow (I couldn't) - there's the BD compliance software, bundled with Scenarist BD, that does the final check.
So if the BD is ok, then it should work on every system that fulfils the requirements of BD (that bears the BD logo). Everything else is a configuration problem. End of story.
Finally, you said nothing how you authored the BD, the advanced authoring subforum was created to pinpoint the finest details of BD/DVD/HDDVD authoring. It was only in the second post that you mentioned Scenarist 5.1.3, but no detailed explanation, not even a hint.
The forum could be Newbies or Hardware.

If TV is PAL and your player output NTSC it is highly possible that PAL TV doesn't have NTSC 3.58 decoder or it have NTSC 4.43 decoder...
If source is 29.97fps like or 24p it can be played as an NTSC.
Veirfy that analog output is not Auto or similar method, force analog output on BD player to the PAL.
Or best use component cable like SCART with RGB.
