Wondering what configuration you have (particularly OS/RAM & soundcard/drivers) ?
Most posts here concern systems that fail rather than succeed.
I've personally seen interesting things with my SBlive card & driver combinations although I guess M/B's and how system resources are allocated plays a big part.
Chow.

I have an AMD XP 1700+ overclocked on a Via 266a based motherboard, 2 x 256mb PC2100 DDR, Sound Blaster Live, XP OS, 2000 OS, 98SE OS,
2 X 2940U SCSI cards, Linksys Network card, IDE CDRW, IDE DVD, 2 X IDE HD.
Only 2 freezes ever in CCE. Both times restarted and finished fine.

Yeah I have a xp1600 and 1.4ghz athlon with soundblaster live and the other with onboard sound running "xp pro/ on both machines" and have only had freezes a few times and everytime it was when i messed with virutal memory settings.

The fact is both computers have done the same thing when i set virtual memory 2 low so in my case the sound blaster live wasent an issue.
