I have had a couple of instances now where CCE will not start encoding. It sits there as if waiting for someone to press the 'ENCODE' button. If the button is pressed, it starts encoding normally. Of course this is a major pain in the butt when you start it and go to bed.

This is on Windows XP Pro, on a Athlon 1.2@1.33

Also have had the last two movies I have done freeze at 66% in CCE. Both times the encode was fixed by lowering the avg bitrate. (minor issue compared to the first one IMO).

It's the 1.0.6 alpha version I spose - pre-release build 7 (the one before the official build 1)

I made a post about this awhile back...I was having the same problem with CCE hanging there until you manually hit the encode button.

I found that getting a different copy of CCE 2.5 SP solved the problem. I didn't know there were different version of 2.5, but there are...the encoding display ect are slightly different.

PS-if you're using the 'spanish' version of CCE, I'm pretty sure it will be the prob

I suggest you get the latest full release of DVD2SVCD. It fixed a few bugs. One was with CCE I think. Remember that version was a beta and not meant for general release.
