MVtools results used for x264

many for use use mvtools motion vectors search.
after denoising, encoding uses again the motion vectors search.
can the results of mvtools be used for x264?
im speaking about time savings. (and maybe quality also)

x264 and MVTools have very different goals in their motion search; the vectors that MVTools finds would be useful--at most--as predictors.
