Have you checked vcdhelp.com? They have a few guides for converting rm to mpeg here: http://www.vcdhelp.com/rmto3.htm

Ok, I read the guide, but I don't like it. I want to use CCE as my encoder. It seems that the only way I can do this is to convert to DivX and then convert to VCD. Is there no way I can connect EO Video to CCE? If I could frameserve out of it, use that in TMPEG, make my settings, VFAPI, and connect that to CCE that would be great.
Any ideas?

I have been doing a few rm 2 vcd encodes. I used the screen capture program they suggest on the vcdhelp site (not EO video...as it didnt seem to convert the files...it just made an avi with a black screen). Once i screen captured i used tmpg to encode...i presume you could use cce if you wanted to.

try tinra as it is the best worst alternative, then framserve the avi generated.

I couldnt really get tinra to work...i found the name of the capture program 'snagit', it works like a charm every time for me (i just set realplayer to 'realtime' processing). Its not perfect....but it works :)

The thing is, I don't want to screen capture. I want to be able to load an RM file into a program, (save a project file and framserve that)/(frameserve directly), link that into TMPEG. load my settings, save a projectfile and frameserve that, link it to CCE, make my settings and encode.
I don't want to save an uncompressed AVI first, then frameserve that into TMPEG or even create DivX, then load that into TMPEG. Don't I have an alternative?

I dont know of any ways that can be done. I was searching for a while for anything that could convert rm to avi (even by frameserving) but i couldnt find anything. If you find anything tell me.
