Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has experienced an issue I'm having. Been using TMPGenc for a while and everything has worked well. But recently I'm having a weird problem with TMPGenc not resizing my video source when I encode a MPEG2 file. I'm trying to create a SVCD. Using the profiles it creates a 640x480 file even though its 480x480 grey'd out. I even tried setting everything manually 480x480. I still get 640x480. I've tried this on Frameserved files, straight avi files (many different codecs). I've even tried an .avi I made (Huffyuv, 480x480) and to encode it straight and it resizes it to 640x480. I've tried setting the outputs as 1:1 VGA, 4:3 Display (what I use to use with no issue), 525 4:3 Display. I can't get it to resize to anything but 640x480.

If anyone has some ideas I would appreciate it.

Thanks
besessen

are you using windows media player to view your svcd file?

I'll use WMP or my DVD software. If I run a svcd encode on another box it resizes correctly and shows the proper resolution in WMP or the DVD software.

seems like that was happening to me too. but i think the problem was with WMP and not my encoding. played fine with WinDVD or in my stand-alone.
