View Full Version : MultiAVCHD issues

I have been using multiAVCHD V3.0 on & off for a while to basically convert a VC-1 encoded blu-ray disc to a H.264 disc. That I then could rip to just a single M2TS file to either play on my TiVo HD, &/or my LG BD390.

Haven't had any issues with getting it to work on PROGRESSIVE VC-1 encoded content. Still doesn't work for INTERLACED VC-1 encoded content.

However... Since it updated to Build 729. When I load a disc, or even just a M2TS video file with VC-1 encoded content it hangs.

I try to click on the "Properties" button or the "Transcode" button, and nothing happens. Although about 5 min later... a box will pop up with the error:

(RT) Stack overflow (PUSH) - Line 17858

Click the OK button and it pops up another 2 or 3 times. Then the whole computer crashes.

AnyDVD is used on another computer to rip the entire Blu-ray to a folder that resides on an EXTERNAL eSATA SSD.

I then take this external eSATA SSD drive to my FASTEST computer which is currently running a quad core 3.2ghz processor with 16gb ram. Windows 7 Ulitmate.

Any ideas whats going on?

Thanks

P.S. Sometimes but not always... After I click "OK" to the above error it will come back with the error of:

(RT) Access violation at address 022159E4 in module 'calclib.dll'. Write Address of 757061CB - Line 1912.

When I click "Ok" to that error. The computer doesn't crash. But it just takes me right back to where I was. If I click "Start" then... It doesn't convert the VC1 encoded video to H.264. It just creates another VC1 encoded Blu-ray. Which is NOT what I want.

Redownload the complete package or read the LOG tab carefully - it says to REPLACE the x264.exe with a one from the link.

Thank you done that...

However... I have gotten it to work for several movies and is doing a great job of converting the VC-1 encoded movie into a h.264 encoded movie.

My problem now is though, I have come across a few movies that after multiAVCHD has finished that the movie which has been converted to h.264 now has serious Audio/video snyc issues.

Examples of two movies with this problem are:

Sunshine Cleaning and Taking Woodstock.

Any ideas?

Thanks
