Hello,

I would like to buy a LiteON DVD burner, because there is much support for them, also on the Internet (region-free- and other tools, firmware, fora).

I need one that

- works with Windows XP Home SP3
- is compatible with LiteON tools, especially with the region free tool LtnRPC
(I have read not all LiteON products work with all LiteON tools)
- can handle many different formats
- can handle copy-protected CDs and DVDs
- is not too expensive ;)

What do you think is a good LiteON burner?

Thank you in advance for your help and many greetings, :)

Where are you? That will affect something like "too expensive".

I think all Lite-On drives will work with your s/w requirements, in general good drives.
