smart authenticating tool

Is there a smart tool available to takeover the functionality of a software player like PowerDVD to authenticate the DVD? I dislike to install a big software package everytime for this one and only work.

I'm assuming you're using vstrip.. the rest of the rippers has their own authentication. Personally I use DVD Decrypter for the task (I always rip with vstrip unless I'm playing with DVD -> DVD-R stuff) and it has yet to fail me..

I use Smartripper and it says: "some files on DVD are unlocked, please try to unlock with a playerh" or so. But once DVD Decrypter was startet, it works with SmartRipper, too. :-)
