how to get backup from hard disk!!

I got some problem in my new laptop and i m still newbie for laptop.
Due to some battery problem it goes to turnoff while i was working on
my Java coding, i want to back up from hard disk but, i can't. i don't know how to
recover important data from hard disk please anyone suggest me the right way.

Can't you just charge the battery and boot the system to burn the data on cd/dvd?

If not, you need an adapter (2,5" HDD to 3,5" pATA/sATA) if the notebook hdd is 2,5".
Some adapters convert the power connector too, some doesn't. You need one with converter.

After you got the hdd out and connected it with your PC, boot windows from the pc hdd (not the notebook hdd!!). in explorer you can access the notebook hdd, then just copy the files you want to backup.

You have many options for backup your data:
1) Write them to CD/DVD
2) Copy them to external USB Flash disk
3) Copy them to external HDD
4) Copy them to another networked pc or disk
etc.......

Important data are these data you may lost when a problem occurs and you don't want to lose them!!
