Hi folks,
I recently purchased Arcsoft Total Media Theatre 3 Platinum because of the nice WMC plugin. Unfortunately I can't use it. Why? See the screenshot below.
The pictures are bad as they were taken with a handy cam but still good enough to demonstrate the issue.
Both systems are using Catalyst 9.12.
Desktop / PC Screen
HD4870 + LG 26" (CCC default settings)
HTPC / TV Screen
AMD 785G HD4200 + Philips 46" (HDMI cable, CCC is set to "Limited RGB")

All I know is that TMT 3 uses "DirectDraw" in Disc Mode and EVR in File Mode.
Of course I have filled a support ticket but I don't expect a solution from Arcsoft. People on arcsoft support forums are complaining about black level issues for months.
Your thoughts, ideas? It would be a shame if there is no way to work around this black crush.
