meGUI extremely slow for such a small clip

The movie file is 11 minutes long, i loaded it into meGUI before i went to sleep, woke up and it was still on the audio at the speed of 0.01X

IDK what's wrong, the audio usually take a minute to complete, what have i done wrong?

Im using the x264 DXVA SD EQ preset / Nero AAC NDAAC HE 64kbps

Um make sure you use the sse version of the encoder rather than the regular one. but I dunno that's still pretty bad >_>

if it's decoding from wmv maybe your directshow decoder is having problems or not working right?

And how do i change my directshow? uninstall my codec pack and reinstall it?

Nero bundles the SSE version of the encoder all in one executable now.

First, set your priority back to normal.

Redownload and install the latest version of Nero's AAC encoder. Test your encode again using the latest version of MeGUI. Report back.

I dont understand what SSE is

The nero package has

neroAacDec
neroAacEnc
and
neroAacTag

IGNORE SSE!!!

Place the neroAacEnc executable over your old one.

make sure windows media player is installed and WMAudio Decoder DMO is the priorty directshow decoder for wmv audio

I think it was only the clip, i changed the Nero thing with the new one, then tried the clip again, same results, tried a diff video file, it worked perfectly

i don't know but recently iam having the same problem...encoding ac3 to aac or mp3 is very slow...and megui is not updating...can anyone tell me is there any problem with the update server???
