Hello,

I noticed that the filesizes for divx4 (I use version 4.12) is off. I was using a 1cd (700MB) rip, and the corresponding filesize was only 683692KB (according to Explorer). The corresponding entry in the log file is

Calculator:
VideoSize: 599150 kbyte.
Audio1Size: 106875 kbyte.
Audio2Size: 0 kbyte.
Overhead: 10774 kbyte.
AviSize: 716800 kbyte (700 mbyte).
FilesSize: 0 kbyte.
TotalSize: 716800 kbyte (700 mbyte).
Interleaving: vbrmp3
Bitrate: 718 k(=1000)Bits/s
Frames: 171009
FPS: 25.000
Duration: 1:54:0
Quality: 0.195 bits/(pixel*frame).
CompCheck3: 0.000 bits/(pixel*frame).
CompCheck4: 0.357 bits/(pixel*frame).
Resolution: 512 x 288

The same worked alright with divx3, the resulting filesize is 716314KB.

Maybe the divx4 guys decided to change the meaning of "kilobyte" again ?

And last but not least, a BIG thank you to TheWEF for this excellent program, and especially for making it a complete rip-pack. Recoding has never been so easy.

I always and end up with undersized file especially when trimming end credits . By default I use (for 1 CD rip – 700MB) 710MB and when I trim end credits with lower settings (like 20% or 30%) I set it up to 730MB to gain desired file size (around 700MB+/-2MB) . My thought is that re-calculate doesn’t do it correctly and Divx4 is very unpredictable.

Sorry for my bad english
