trying to insert the deleted scenes to the main movie...

Hello to the whoever who reads this ! response will be very appricated ..

Well , as the topic suggests - i'm trying to insert some deleted scenes that i have in their own avi file ( all scenes in one file) , and i have the main movie to which i want to add them ...
i'm using the microDVD Ini , and i'm not sure if there's a way to insert the scenes using the ini menu , if you do - feel free to share the knowledge with yours truly ... thanks !
B.T.W: I'm trying to do this with an "on the fly" method - in which the main movie pauses the deleted scene is played , and then it returns to the same frame in the main movie...

i don't know how to handle micodvd and its ini-files but i have another suggestion; you may cut the movie with vdub and add the scenes you want to..

You could try and trick MDVDP by making the movie part of your menu, dividing it into menu pages and using the VideoRange + JumpAtEnd command to play the movie in parts. Since the menu video must be all in one video file you would have to splice the extras in, or just tag them onto the end of the movie. Also, the limitations of this method mean the movie can only be 1 CD long, and can't have subtitles or multiple audio tracks.

Of course you could treat each half (or third or whatever) of the movie as a seperate movie and make an mdvd.ini for it, which would let you have multi-cd movies, but you would loose the auto-play of the next cd feature.

I've never tried this, it's just a thought.

While it would be a considerable amount of extra work, that's a pretty tight idea. It makes me want to insert a couple of deleted scenes from SE7EN seamlessly and make my own "special edition" DVD rip.

I have almost my DVD rips with special features like animation Menus from original DVD, Making Of, Trailers, deleted Scenes and others stuff.

It's not easy on begining, but after you made one or two will be quite simply! The MicroDVD have a aditional program called IniEditor to make the ini files, but it's a bit difficult to understand. To make ini file i recommend other program called Micro DVD Menu Maker.

Go to Doom9 Download section and you will find that!
