I use gordian knot, but I extract the audio using graphedit. Someone told me that extracting the audio to AC3 using DVD2AVI is inaccurate and can cause sync problems.
How have you guys gotten on with it?

Uhmmm...all I can say is you were misinformed. Almost all of use the AC3 stream from DVD2AVI without any sync errors. I've yet to have any problems with sync or corruption out of DVD2AVI.

You where tottaly missinformed, the first thing I noticed about the DVD2AVI AC3 stream was that it had the ms delay between the movie and the audio writen in the AC3 strem name, with that in mind GKnot takes that name-string and uses it in the best possible way, I had a major problem with an NTSC source with a bad audio sync , that's when I gave GKnot a try and I havn't changed ever since.
