A BIG THANKS to the whole MeGUI Team!

I just thought I'd start a thread to thank the original MeGui team. Now that some of them have taken a break from development, I think we all realized how much we appreciated all their hard work. I imagine they put in hundreds, or better said, thousands of hours, for no pay other than helping us out.

Regardless of whether they will be able to come back in the future or not, I just thought I'd say a BIG THANKS to the whole team for all they were able to do. There are many things I can easily do now with videos that would be simply impossible or 10x more difficult without all their hard work.

It's hard to find the right words. I am truly grateful for all their countless voluntarily hours/weeks/years and their great product which has been evolved over the last years. My best wishes for their future - if MeGUI is involved or not doesn't matter at all - and I am paying big tribute to all of them.

I obviously agree! MeGui is a great little application that i found deeply studied and implemented and it is (..used to be..) very very usable for various kind of users. I also would'nt mind donating (if this is the issue) to get it under active developed again, but maybe there are other issues behind the sudden stop of the devs.

At the end of the day, anyway, I just hope Sharktooth's health probs can get solved asap regardless of MeGui development. I wish you all the best man. To the other devs i just want to say a big :thanks: and on the other end, express a bit of "sadness" because it is IMHO a shame that this great app no longer "exists"

I know, that my registrationtime isn't that long and my words can't count like the pros here that solve many problems. But i have to say, i never encoded any movie before MeGUI was done.

It's the best tool i know and i hope, that it ever will be. I fear an abandoned project - please don't let this milestone die. I beg you!

No words can capture the true amount effort that has gone into developing a wonderful tool like MeGUI. I hope that the efforts they have put in doesnt go away in vain.
