Try posting the Dvd2svcd_log.txt file with your post. it might help see what happened.
it's normally in the dvd2svcd/movie folder unless you changed the location to save the movie to.

looks like dvd2svcd did not finish encoding.

bbmpeg failed to launch. it didnt convert any pictures or multiplexing & cutting.
the last item should have been vcdx build.!

the very last line would be SVCD creation finished.

have you pasted all the log?

did it crash?

THUNDERZ2000
27th January 2002, 23:42
that was the entire log..it just stopped at that point and i thought it was completed

If that is all of the log file it looks as if CCE never started encoding the main movie. Do you have any CCE_Encoded_Video.mpv or vaf files on your computer?

If you have Don't Delete Files checked do you have any Muxed.mpg files?

What version of CCE are you using?

What CPU are you using?

forgive my ignorance im new at this so im confused but i think the cce is version 2.5..
there are no created video files in the movie folder just the vob files and extracted audio files and a couple of pic files but as i say this is my first attempt using the programme so u will have to firgive my ignorance

What CPU are you using? P3, P4, Athlon etc..
If celeron what speed?

That will be your problem. If you look at the requirements for the CCE program it needs at least an P3 or Athlon. Earlier processors are not supported. Therefore your video encoding phase never ran.

markrb

Thought that was the problem CCE does not support your CPU.

Sorry you cannot use DVD2SVCD until you have a P3 or faster.

in that case is there any other programme combination that will give me the end result of a dvd burned to cd?
